About
I first became interested in photography as a teenager over 30 years ago and one Christmas my parents bought me my first SLR camera, a Russian made Zenit 11 which I still own to this day!
Fast-Forward many years and my love of nature and the great outdoors inspired me to purchase my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D40.
Within months of acquiring my D40, I was completely hooked and pretty soon my camera bag was full of higher spec Nikons and a variety of lenses!
To the present day and I'm now a semi professional photographer with work featured in a variety of different media worldwide.
Most of my work is captured in Northern England and North Wales and living in South Manchester, I'm very lucky to be within a couple of hours drive of some of Britain's most spectacular scenery.
In recent years I've hung up my DSLR's in favour of the Lumix mirrorless system because of their excellent image quality and lightweight design.
